Welcome to the 2017-2018 School Year! One less wheel, two times the fun!
Who can join the Cathcart Unicycle Club?
Cathcart elementary students that are in the 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. Cathcart unicycle club alumni can also ride with our club.
What does it cost to join?
There is a $85 Club fee to cover the cost of facility usage, insurance, t-shirt and event fees.
What do we do at practice?
The first month of practice is reserved for rookie riders. New riders are taught how to mount and ride a unicycle. The next month our veteran riders join us. Typically groups break up by levels of ability. They work on riding skills, levels testing and performance practice.
When and where do you meet?
Our regular practices are held every Friday afternoon after school, from 1:15– 2:30pm during the Fall/Winter. In the Spring we often extend the time to 3:00pm. We meet in the gym of the school. **Please note that when dropping off your rider and their bike Friday a.m. for school, unicycles must be lined up neatly behind the school office. They should NOT be dropped outside of the gym. This disrupts the flow of student traffic during classes and at lunch time.
